Run command for Remote desktop manager There is no Run command for opening remote desktop connection manager directly. It is usually installed in the path C: Program Files Remote Desktop Connection Manager RDCman.exe.

If you use remote desktop and hate how your computer is locked after you are done instead of sitting at the desktop or whatever like you left it, do this:
Make a shortcut and point it to:
%windir%System32tscon.exe 0 /dest:console
Then just use that shortcut to end your remote desktop session. It kicks you out of remote desktop, and activates the local console again. I have my shortcut in the quicklaunch toolbar, it's very convenient that way.
This has made remote desktop WAY more convenient for me, since when you are in front of the host computer you know when it is actually being used remotely, not just that it had been used remotely at some point and is sitting there locked still.
